How billing works

You always know what a case will cost.

The meter is the length of the footage you upload — not how long transcription takes, not how many times you search it.

Hours are included

Each plan comes with a block of transcription hours every billing cycle — 3 on Solo, 12 on Firm. Most months, that is the whole bill.

Overage by the minute

Go past your included hours and extra footage is billed at your plan's hourly rate, measured in one-minute increments. A 12-minute clip is 12 minutes, not an hour.

Review is unlimited

Once footage is transcribed, searching it, re-running review questions, bookmarking and building lists never costs another cent — for the life of the case.

Pricing questions

The fine print, in plain language.

Only the running time of the footage you upload for transcription. A 40-minute bodycam file uses 40 minutes. Searching that transcript, re-running review questions, editing speaker names or building witness lists never touches the meter.
Nothing stops — your footage keeps transcribing. Anything past your included block is billed at your plan's hourly overage rate ($99/hour on Solo, $79/hour on Firm), measured in one-minute increments and added to your next invoice.
Any time. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the billing page inside the app. If a single large case pushes you past Solo's hours, moving up to Firm is usually cheaper than paying the overage.
No. It is a month-to-month subscription with no setup fee and no commitment. Cancel whenever you like and you keep access through the end of the period you have paid for.
Included hours reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not carry forward. Pick the plan that fits your typical month — the overage rate is there for the occasional heavy case, not as a penalty.
